We are Buffalo’s own premier Burlesque Troupe, The Miss Demeanors. Co-founded by Miss Sweet Summers and Ginny Juniper in 2019, with our newest member, Tallulah Sweets, joining the mix in 2024, making TMD what it is today. We pride ourselves on being inclusive and inviting, making sure each show is diverse and showcases all body types, gender identities, and all forms of burlesque.

With dozens of production credits and guest appearances under our feather bustles, we love showcasing the craft of burlesque. Whether we are at one of our 3 residency spots, or traveling out of town, The Miss Demeanors will always bring a one-of-a-kind energy to any show.

The Queen City Burlesque Gala, November 2023 & December of 2024 - The first of its kind and the biggest Burlesque event the city of Buffalo has seen in the last 50 plus years.

Ginny Juniper

The Sparkle Queen

Ginny Juniper (she/her), honorably dubbed Buffalo’s “Sparkle Queen”, is a published model, as well as Emcee and co-founder of The Miss Demeanors. A lover of bringing all things kitsch, glamorous, sensual and political into a burlesque performance, she will have you laughing and screaming for more! When she’s not dripping in rhinestones, you’ll be sure to find Ginny pouring anything from champagne to sunscreen all over her body on stage. You can catch The Miss Demeanors and friends at one of their many incredible residencies and as guest performers around Western, NY.

The Hype Girl

Miss Sweet Summers (she/her) is a burlesque dancer, published model and dedicated hype gal to everyone she meets. After making her performance debut in 2019, Miss Sweet Summers co-founded The Miss Demeanors and never looked back. As a co-producer of dozens of shows, her favorite part is always standing in the crowd, yelling and cheering on her beautiful fellow performers. When Summers isn't performing, you can usually find her curled up on the couch with snacks and her French Bulldog, Gretchen! However, even when she's relaxing, her mind is always thinking about what she's going to do on stage next!

Tallulah Sweets

The Glamazon Baker

Tallulah Sweets (she/her) has legs for days and no ass in sight, this queen of the itty bitty titty committee can make you question everything you know about yourself. Dancing since she was 4 and trained in the classic art of Fosse, she has performed in CT Cabaret theater and auditioned at Radio City. Lover of the silly and cheeky, she's happy to be a part of the Buffalo scene to show that funny can be sexy, campy can be cool, and sometimes you just have to throw some tots...
